Our Variable Pulsed Light (VPL) machine is superior to Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and is a safe and effective treatment for most Hair and Skin types for both men and women.
How does it work?
The VPL system works by delivering a super fast pulse of intense Light/Heat energy into the skin cell. This Light/Heat energy is absorbed by the colored pigment in the skin cells, disabling the cells only responsible for the skin
pigmentation stimulating collagen production. VPL is not suitable for hair or skin without pigment (white or very fair) red hair and hair that is lighter than your skin colouring.
VPL for Pigmentation Reduction
The VPL (Variable Pulsed Light) pigment reduction system is a safe and effective treatment for most skin types and works by delivering a super fast pulse of light/heat energy into the coloured pigment area only.
Usually one to four treatments are required to reduce the pigmented area.
VPL for Red Vein Reduction
Broken Capillaries or Red Veins are not actually ‘broken’ but permanently dilated groups of superficial capillaries. They become more visible when the skin’s collagen layer (The fibres that knit our skin together) becomes thin and reveals more redness
